Tanya Hamilton

Director of Youth Enrichment

Tanya Hamilton is a native Floridian and graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School.  She received the Lord as her savior in 1990 at a Bible Study meeting.  Tanya shortly thereafter married Willie Hamilton and through their union, two children were born Britanya and Willie III. Tanya has worked for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for over 20 years where she assists in Administrative duties.  She has received numerous letters of commendation and awards for her dedicated service.  She was ordained several years ago and serves as a Youth Minister under Gods direction.  Her zeal in life is to serve God by teaching young people to identify who they are based on their spiritual being and not based on the views, opinions, or superficial standards of society.  She strives to become an “agent of change” in the lives of young people.

“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborourers are few.”  There are so many adolescents in need of support and there are simply not enough people willing to build a bridge to connect to these youths.  Tanya would rather invest her time, her life or spend the rest of her life pleasing God by serving Him through the service of people.

Fannie Strickland

Administrative Director

Fannie Strickland is a native of West Palm Beach, FL, where she grew up as a necessitous youth. Although she had shelter, her living arrangements were that of an indigent child. As time passed, Fannie found favor with her teachers and other adults in her neighborhood; they saw the potential in her, sacrificed their time and poured into her life. Fannie’s background and life’s experiences remind her of the challenges that many youth (namely teenagers) face and feels that she is now in a position to “Give Back”.

As one of the founders of SWAGGAA Inc., an organization targeting teens in the urban community, Fannie operates as the Administrative Director where she is responsible for planning and structuring the movement of the organization. Her zeal for a thriving community has led her to a number of volunteer opportunities and leadership roles.

Fannie is a Certified PHR and is currently an Administrative Assistant to the Community Bank President and District Managers of a large Financial Institution.

Michael Strickland

Michael Strickland born and raised in the city of West Palm Beach and eldest of three children; Michael graduated from North Shore High School now known as Bak Middle School of Performing Arts. His service in this industry has graced him with a sense of sacrifice and attentiveness required to assist individuals with specific needs. Michael was recently named guest-services Employee of the Year by the Palm Beach County Hotel & Lodging Association where he received numerous awards and recognition.

Michael says one of his most important accomplishments is being married over 20 years, raising three children (now adults) and helping to nurture two grand children. He says that he is privileged to be one of the founders of an organization, that will help teens give back to their neighborhood and is confident that SWAGGAA will positively impact the community.
